Welcome to Henry Hudson Regional School's School Counseling Department Website. The School Counseling Department provides students, parents and teachers with a variety of services designed to maximize student potential. Counseling services are available to students as well as their parents or guardians in the following areas: assistance with academic planning; orientation to the school; career counseling and planning; personal and social counseling; post-secondary planning and placement; and financial aid and scholarship services.

Guidance Forms

Individual Counseling
Counselors will meet with students on an individual basis based on their needs.  If you feel that your child will benefit from individual counseling services, please contact me or fill out the referral form above.
 
Group Counseling
Small group counseling is designed to be preventative and developmental.  Being a part of a group is an excellent way for student to learn new skills, develop self-confidence, become more aware of how others see them, practice new behaviors, and better understand how to deal with the many problems life presents.
 
College & Career Readiness
Counselors will work with students to explore future goals and careers.  Through a variety of lessons and activities, students will discover their personal strengths and interests.  Counselors will help students discover the relationship between these personal qualities, interests, and education and the world of work.

2ND Floor Youth Helpline - 1-888-222-2228

2NDFLOOR is a confidential and anonymous helpline for New Jersey's youth and young adults. They are always available to help students find solutions to the problems that they face at home or at school.

CPC Behavioral Health - 732-842-2000

CPC provides behavioral health and education services that promote wellness, recovery and productive lives to individuals and families dealing with behavioral, emotional or substance abuse disorders, developmental disabilities, and special educational needs.

Sandy Wellness Programs - 732-542-6422

The Mental Health Associate of Monmouth County provides free counseling as well as information and referral services to those in need.
