Parent Organizations
Special Education Parent Advisory Group
A SEPAG (Special Education Parent Advisory Group) is a state-mandated group in New Jersey that provides parents of students with disabilities a platform to collaborate with school districts on special education policies, programs, and services. SEPAGs offer input on issues affecting special education, help identify areas for improvement, and work to enhance communication between families and the school district. They do not focus on individual cases but rather on systemic improvements to support all students with disabilities.
About ANCHOR SEPAG
ANCHOR SEPAG is the Special Education Parent Advisory Group for the Atlantic Highlands and Highlands
Elementary Schools and Henry Hudson Regional School District. We are a parent-led advisory group that partners
with district administrators to identify challenges, celebrate successes, and improve programs and communication
for students with disabilities and learning differences. In compliance with N.J.A.C. 6A:14-1.2(h), every New Jersey
district maintains a SEPAG to provide input on issues concerning students with disabilities.
