Daily Announcements

Breakfast is available daily to students and includes a choice of cereal, bagel, oatmeal, yogurt or the breakfast special.  Your choice comes with fruit, juice and milk.  To see the daily special check out the menu Posters inside the cafetorium or on the Henry Hudson website under cafeteria.

Tree of Warmth:  The annual Tree of Warmth, sponsored by the GSA, has been put up in the library. Please decorate the tree with new mittens/gloves, hats, earmuffs, socks and scarves. Donations will be accepted until December 18th and taken to Holiday Express.


Book Club:  Any club members who did not attend the Nov. book club meeting please see Ms. Distasio with your copy of The Mystery of Hollow Places and pick up your copy of Every Exquisite Thing! Fines will be put in for books not returned.


School Store- The School Store will be open this Friday morning before period 1. Come get your shopping done for the holidays or for the upcoming Pep Rally. Reminder to 9th grade Class Officers that you are working at the Store this week.



LITTLE WOMEN - read through on Tuesday after school in room 203.  Any issues or problems, see Mrs. Sweeney


There is no Art club today after school on Wednesday. It will be on Thursday12-7  instead.


Attention Seniors: Please choose your yearbook pose by 12/19/17. If you are having trouble selecting online, please email the pose # of your formal photo to Ms.Akers.


Also,seniors...don’t forget to remind your family to purchase your once in a lifetime senior baby yearbook ad!!  The link is available on our website.

There is a scholarship opportunity available in the guidance office for any 12th grade student who is interested in pursuing a career in the field of education. Please come to guidance or check Naviance for the application.




Student Council- There will be a Student Council Meeting this Friday-12/8 during period 4. Please make sure to bring your $3 contribution from each Class Officer for the Holiday Shopping project.

 

Attention holiday shoppers! Looking for something educational and inspiring to give to your loved ones? Support the senior class and shop at the Barnes and Noble in Holmdel on Sunday, Dec 17th from 11am-9pm. There will be seniors at the gift wrapping station to wrap your presents for free AND our very own Julia Forsyth will be playing a set for entertainment! It's a day you won't want to miss! See Ms. Faria, Mrs. Merrigan, or any senior class member for a flyer to show at the register when checking out.

 

Key Club Members needed:

Attention seniors, it is time to start planning your next steps after you leave Hudson. If you have questions about the college process or other options you have after high school please make an appointment to see Ms. DeWyngaert in Guidance. 

 

 

Please be sure your name is on lunch bags and backpacks so they can be returned to you as soon as possible if lost.

 

 

 

 

Parking Permits:

All students parking on school property must have a HHRS parking pass.  Your permit from the 2016-2017 school year has expired.  Please see Mrs. Reagan in the Main Office to obtain a parking permit form (it was included in the senior student packet) to get your sticker.

Start your day right with breakfast.  Breakfast is served daily at 7:15am.  Introducing a hot breakfast item every Wednesday.  Visit the website for the monthly breakfast/lunch menus.

Hot Breakfast – Wednesday – 11/23 – Pancakes!!


 To any 12th graders who have not yet started or submitted college applications:

On Tuesday, November 29th Ms. DeWyngaert will be meeting with any 12th graders who want help completing applications for schools or scholarships in Room 415 after school. Please see guidance with any questions. 

 

The Girl Scout troop #1659 is placing boxes in 7th grade homerooms asking students to donate food, paper goods, shampoo etc.  They will be collecting until Dec. 16th. The homeroom that collects the most will win a Pizza Party!! All donations will be brought to the Atlantic Highlands Food Pantry. Thank you for your help!

 

 Please remember that you must have a parking permit to park your car on school grounds.  Please see Mrs. Reagan in the Main Office to obtain a permit.
